2022 Somar Port - Vinho Rubi
This wine hails from our oldest Tempranillo vines planted in 2009 and gives a glimpse into our estate’s potential for producing exceptional fortified wines. The dense brick red color teases the eye as rich aromas of blackberry jam, cherry liqueur, crushed raspberry, and pipe tobacco waft from the glass, but what makes this so special is the velvet-laced mouthfeel and impeccable acid balance. Don’t be in a rush to enjoy this wine. It understands and will benefit the patient. Enjoy 2023-2035 with a Cohiba Spectre.
