Muscat always presents an escape for us. We focus so seriously on our wine growing and making efforts that we sometimes need an excuse to just enjoy what we do and Muscat is always willing to be that foil. This wine never ceases to excite the nose and palate with its concentrated floral perfume, tangerine, lemongrass, and crushed pineapple tones to go with a subtle sweetness that perfectly balances the wine’s acidity while also allowing for some of the most interesting pairing opportunities. An obvious partner is grilled shrimp drizzled with habanero-ginger oil, but outside the box thinking puts a twist on affogato with this Muscat poured over lemon sorbet.
